Steeping instructions Bamboo tea
For every person you put 1 gram Bamboo leaves in a pot and pour boiling water (90-100°C) on them.
Depending on how strong you like your tea, steep for 6-8 minutes.
Bamboo leaves can be used 1 to 2 times. Drink this tea slightly cooled so its aroma comes out best.
Also, cold Bamboo tea is considered a good thirst quencher.


Steeping instructions Green tea
For one cup of tea you need one teaspoon of green tea.
It is better not to use a tea ball since the leaves cannot unfold properly and the flavour of the tea is not optimum.
Use hot water for green tea (60 to 80 °C) and not boiling since the taste will be bitter.

Steep green tea for 2-3 minutes, not longer.
Another method: pour hot water of approx. 70 °C on the leaves and then immediately pour off the water.
Then pour hot water on them again. The bitter substances have then gone and the tea has a milder aroma.

Steeping instructions Rooibos tea
For one cup of you need approx. 2 gram Rooibos tea.
Pour boiling water on the tea and steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your taste.

Steeping instructions White tea
There are many different ways in which to brew white tea: the Chinese put the tea leaves in the water and then pour boiling water on them several times.
We on the other hand take hot water of 60 to 80 °C and steep the tea for 2-3 minutes. 
In all cases counts: the better the quality of the white tea, the more often you can use the tea.


Suggestion for summer: Iced-tea! 

On a hot summer day you can create your own iced-tea of a fruit blend by using the so-called 'shock brew' method.
Colour and aroma are well preserved like this.
Prepare a double strong fruit blend and pour this in a glass half full of ice cubes.
You can serve the drink immediately or put it in the fridge to keep cool.


Steeping instructions Herbal tea
For one cup of tea you need 2 full teaspoons Herbal tea.
Pour boiling water on it and steep for 8-10 minutes.

Steeping instructions Black tea
Use approx. 10 to 15 grams of Black tea for 1 liter of water. 
Ideal steeping time for black tea is 3 minutes. 
If you steep longer (than 3 min.) more tannins are released.

Steeping instructions for Fruit tea
For one cup of tea you need 2 full teaspoons of Fruit tea.
Pour boiling water on it and steep for 8-10 minutes.
